Lisa will be one of three guests interviewed on Open to Hope TV on Saturday, June 16. https://www.opentohope.com/tv/ Dr Gloria Horsley and her daughter, Dr Heidi Horsley created Open to Hope, an online grief support resources that includes blogs, radio and TV programming to offer hope after loss. The June 16 event will be a  "taping" with the two hosts learning more about Lisa as an author and as a woman who faced several losses. Sisters of Mercy Guided Retreat at Warde Health Center

Mercy Ministry of Prayer and Presence "We should be as the compass that goes round its circle without stirring from it's center. Our center is God, from whom all our actions should spring, as from the source." Catherine McAuley This five day directed retreat for the Sisters of Mercy in residence at the Warde Health Center will create a space of prayer and opening to the Spirit. Scripture, music, imagery and more will be incorporated to nurture the sisters' personal prayer, as well as their dedicated life of prayer that is offered for so many.

Grief and Hope – Companions on our Journey through Loss

How do grief and hope co-exist in our hearts? How is that possible? Some of us deny the seeds of hope in our grieving hearts, thinking we must remain faithful to our loved one’s memory. Hope is as alive as our grief. It does not take away the pain, but lives alongside it. Hope sustains our wounded heart as as we find our way though the land of Loss. This day of reflection will include the support of community, prayer, ritual and quiet - each valuable resources for healing a grieving heart.
